Goal: To obtain a position that will provide opportunity to utilize my leadership skills, supervise a creative department and develop creative concepts.

Experience: My traditional training as a fine artist has served well to enhance my ability to create. I view technological advancements as wonderful tools and not the sole solution to creative challenges. My responsibilities have included overseeing projects, supervising staff and monitoring the overall quality of work produced by the creative department. My duties include translating the client's objectives into creative strategies and managing multiple projects from conception to completion. My skills include guiding and directing creative teams, proofing specs and meeting deadlines in a cost efficient manner. I have developed a proven track record as an advanced leader in creative design and interpreting design concepts.

2008 to 2013 - Epocrates Creative Manager / Content Producer-- At Epocrates I was responsible for overseeing all promotional materials for "Epocrates Essentials." Which is the software used by 1 out of 2 Doctors at the point of care. Art directing; web design; power point presentation; graphic images quality control; and print materials are also part of my responsibilities.

2000 to 2007 - Embryon, Inc. Art Director-- I began at Embryon as a one-man shop which became a 12 member staff. In our Creative Services Department, I was responsible for interpreting scientific information, developing design concepts, and producing materials that educate physicians and other healthcare providers in the use of our client's products. I supervised Art Directors, traffic and production staff. I perform all tasks within strictly followed budgetary guidelines and meet vital deadlines. As senior staff member I established our department's policy and procedure standards. These standards have enabled the Creative Services Department to maintain design integrity throughout the design process.
